Johannes Lamparter honored with Audi Generation Award

With two gold and one bronze medal at the World Championships in Oberstdorf and gold at the World Junior Championships, Johannes Lamparter completed a fabulous season. In spring, he was already honored with the “Viktor” as the Tyrolean Rising Star of the Year, and now he has also received an international award with the Audi Generation Award. The 19-year-old nordic combined athlete was presented with the award in the winter sports category in person at the Allianz Arena in Munich on October 6th. The Audi Generation Award is given to young, authentic personalities with sympathy who have a great career ahead of them.

This year’s award for summer sports went to FC Bayern shooting star Jamal Musiala. In previous years, sports superstars such as Henrik Kristoffersen, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller have already been honored with the award.

Johannes Lamparter: “I am extremely happy to receive such a cool, international award! It is a nice recognition and also an additional motivation for the upcoming Olympic season. It makes me proud to now be in a row with so many big names.”
