Johannes Lamparter wins “Niki” as Rising Star of the Year

Johannes Lamparter was awarded the “Niki” at the celebratory Lotterien Sporthilfe Gala in Vienna on October 14th, after sports fans voted him “Rising Star of the Year”. The 19-year-old nordic combined athlete came out on top against biathlon world champion Lisa Hauser and Olympic cycling champion Anna Kiesenhofer. The award also caused great joy among the JumpandReach family, who attended the gala together and enjoyed the great evening in Vienna.

After the flurry of flashbulbs at the “Golden Carpet” and numerous interviews of interested journalists with Johannes Lamparter and Chiara Kreuzer, they took their seats at the JumpandReach table and nothing stood in the way of a fine, cozy evening away from the hustle and bustle of everyday sports life.

In addition to the “Niki” for Johannes Lamparter, the JumpandReach family could be happy about the 2nd place for Chiara Kreuzer with the team world champions in ski jumping and 3rd place for Lamparter in the world champion duo with Greiderer – behind the winner FC Red Bull Salzburg.

Johannes Lamparter: “It’s just really cool and a great honor that so many fans voted for me as rising star of the year. I had a really great year and all the awards are just a confirmation that things are going in a good direction. I’m very happy and grateful about that.”
