Nordic Combined Triple in Seefeld with Johannes Lamparter and Dominik Terzer

With Johannes Lamparter and Dominik Terzer, this year two young athletes of the JumpandReach family were in the starters field and can now look back with satisfaction on an instructive Triple with good performances. Traditionally, the triple is an event with three consecutive races whereby the times and backlogs are added on to the next day’s race.

Junior World Champion Johannes Lamparter started the event with two top 15 results from the ongoing World Cup season already. The 18-year-old could confirm his continuous development and showed solid jumps and dedicated performances on the running track. The young Tyrolean made it to the final day and at rainy conditions on Sunday he ended on the really good 21st overall place!

In Seefeld Dominik Terzer was competing in the World Cup for the second time this season after having taken part at the home races in Ramsau am Dachstein. For the young athlete from Absam (Tyrol), the task was to show best possible performances and to fight from day to day to stay in order to stay in the event. And he managed it successfully! With a lot of courage and motivation Dominik was able to make it to the final day and could finish 39th at his first Nordic Combined Triple.

Of course the JumpandReach family was on site in the Olympiaregion Seefeld at all days to support and cheer for the athletes. Also, the kids from the JumpandReach kids(e)motion (young athletes support initiative) took the chance and were part of the amazing home crowd which created a great atmosphere in the stadium.

Now we can now look back on the Nordic Combined Triple with satisfaction, as the JumpandReach athletes were fighting for meters on the hill and seconds in the cross-country track until the last day of the event – Keep it up guys!
