End of summer with the Austrian Championships

In autumn temperatures in mid-October, the Austrian Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping Championships were once again held in Bischofshofen and Hinzenbach.

In Bischofshofen, the large hill competitions took place in great weather. The JumpandReach family was fully represented at the start and was delighted with Johannes Lamparter’s first State Championship title and a runner-up title for Stefan Kraft, who finished second behind Daniel Tschofenig! Michael Hayböck and Christian Deuschl also put in a confident performance.

In fresher temperatures on Sunday on the normal hill, local hero Michi and Nordic combined athlete Christian unfortunately had to cancel their start due to illness. Stefan Kraft showed his consistent form and jumped to 3rd place behind Daniel Tschofenig and Manuel Fettner, while Johannes Lamparter also put a smile on the faces of the JumpandReach family with good performances.

Now it’s time for the final weeks of preparation for everyone before the new winter season starts at the end of November.
