„JumpandReach for friends“ 2019 – a very special family meeting started its 17th round…
120 days after the Nordic Ski World Championship in Seefeld the JaR athletes met up around the medal winners of the home World Championship Stefan Kraft, Michael Hayböck and Mario Seidl together with the JumpandReach family with Johannes Lamparter, Dominik Terzer Christian Deuschl & Co, with the closest friends and mentors of JumpandReach among others Martha Schultz and Günther Mader already the 17th time at the traditional JumpandReach for friends in high-grade ambience in the Hotel Klosterbräu in Seefeld with the family Seyrling.
The first time the JumpandReach family got into “unknown waters” and explored together the Weidachsee in Leutasch with its fishery. Patrick Murinig, Dominik Terzer & Co tried to fish the first time and were in search of the big catch. With some patience and the right technique, the JumpandReach family was able to reach actually some feelings of success and enjoyed the unique ambience of the Olympic region. The catch was cooked at the spot and therefore fishing ended with a delicious meal at the lake comfortably and convivially.
However, a bit less “comfortable” the day went on… Michi Hayböck, Stefan Kraft, Johannes Lamparter & Co made the tires glow and drove at the go cart racecourse one round after the other at the B1 in Innsbruck. They improved their times with each round, and made the line tougher at the same time with each round. After a thrilling qualifying the youngest of the JumpandReach family – Johannes Lamparter – celebrated a wire to wire victory and therefore can call himself the victory of the Big JumpandReach Grand Prix of Innsbruck. Christian Deuschl and Dominik Terzer won the 2nd and 3rd place and therefore completed the “Nordic Combined Triple” on the podium.
At Saturday evening this special family meeting had its end with a dinner with the closest members and a special medal ceremony in the Hotel Klosterbräu. There were 5 World Championship medals and 3 Junior World Championship medals, which had to be celebrated this evening.
A special price for the medal winners in Seefeld: Head of Hotel Klosterbräu Alois Seyrling treated, as promised, Stefan Kraft, Michael Hayböck and Mario Seidl a great stay in the new LOFT 500 at Hotel Klosterbräu & Spa in Seefeld as a present for their victory.
