The 25-year old Mario Seidl is ready for his home world cup at the Nordic Combined Triple in Seefeld. The delight to start at Nordic Combined Triple and fight for positions for World Cup in front of your home crowd is big. Beside the new cross-country track Seidl & Co. will find lot of fans, a very strong competition and a unique atmosphere.

The special characteristic and together the big challenge for the sportsmen at the Nordic Combined Triple are for sure the three competitions on three straight following days. On day 1 sportsmen will face one jumping round and afterwards 5 km on the new track. Day 2 does also start with jumping and with 10 km run after that. On 3rd and final day Seidl & Co. will do one jumping round and following this a very tough 15 km race on the cross – country track to make the decision about “King of Nordic Combined Triple in Seefeld”. A further special characteristic is also that from day to day athletes bring their advance or deficit as their “starting situation”.

Friends and family will also be there and support me – this is always something special and a kind of extra motivation and extra power on the track. At the last stages in World cup I wasn’t able to show my potential. In Seefeld I’ll try to make a further step in this direction and find back in track step by step. I want to be happy and pleased with my personal performance. I’ll try everything, take the extra motivation of the crowd to fight back step by step and show constant performance.”
